Wings Unlimited Heads to Victory Lane With 17 Different Drivers

Inside Line Promotions – BIGLERVILLE, Pa. (April 30, 2014) – It has been a great start to the season for drivers utilizing Wings Unlimited products.

A total of 17 different racers have recorded at least one victory in the past two months throughout the Midwest and along the East Coast.

410 FEATURE WINNERS –

Greg Hodnett claimed the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions Bob Weikert Memorial last Saturday at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pa. It marked Hodnett’s fourth win in the event and his first triumph of this season.

Danny Smith notched a pair of victories at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, in April. Smith won last Saturday and he was also victorious on April 12.

Jamie Veal captured a win on April 20 at Premier Speedway in Warrnambool, Australia.

James McFadden picked up a victory at Toowoomba Speedbowl in Toowoomba, Australia, on April 20.

Ian Madsen won the season opener at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on April 19. It was his third career victory at the half-mile oval.

Rod George took the lead on Lap 17 and pulled away to capture the win at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pa., on April 12.

Jim Siegel powered to his 10th career win at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., on April 5. Siegel led all 25 laps of the main event.

Adam Wilt recorded a victory on March 15 during the season-opening Icebreaker 30 at Lincoln Speedway. It was his second opening-day triumph in the past three seasons at the 3/8-mile oval.

360/358 FEATURE WINNERS –

Derek Hagar has earned four feature wins, including the season openers at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark., on April 5 and at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., on April 19, the past month and a half. Hagar also picked up a triumph on March 15 with the USCS at Tennessee National Raceway in Hohenwald, Tenn., and he scored his most recent victory last Saturday at I-30 Speedway to give him five total this season.

Sport Allen recorded the Eagle Jet Top Gun Sprints feature triumph last Saturday at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Fla.

Danny Martin won his heat race and the Eagle Jet Top Gun Sprints main event at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., on April 19.

Mark Smith led the distance to win the 67th annual URC season opener on April 19 at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pa.

Carson McCarl claimed his first career 360 sprint car win during the 20-lap Sprint Invaders event at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, on April 16.

Adrian Shaffer recorded his eighth career 358 win on March 28 during the Williams Grove Speedway season opener in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Defending track champion Niki Young led all 20 laps of the Lincoln Speedway season opener on March 22.

Jon Agan led the final 21 laps to notch the ASCS Gulf South Region season-opening win on March 14 at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas.

305/SPORTSMAN WINNERS –

Scott Geesey made a last-lap pass to secure the victory on April 5 at Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, Pa. He led three times during the event and capitalized on a caution with one lap remaining to set up the race-winning move to the lead.
